  1. LightBox is similar to the finder in the manner it deals with files. You first specify a single file (or a list of files) by a mouse selection and then choose a command to do an operation on them.

  3. Like the Finder, where each file is represented by an icon, LightBox uses thumbnails to represent files.

  5. With the Tools menu you can:
  6. ΓÇó copy files spread on all your disks to a single target folder.
  7. ΓÇó compress a list of image files to conserve disk space.
  8. ΓÇó delete duplicate image files that waste disk space.
  9. ΓÇó open a file using the application that created it.
  10. ΓÇó temporarily place it on the desktop to work with it.
  11. ΓÇó move it to the trash.
  12. ΓÇó quickly locate a file on your disks or on a network.
